    Hi all!

I was wondering if anyone of you can help me about a little thing that's bugging me: I want Vista to show only the file sorting tabs I want in folders for ALL folders in my system.

To make the long story short: I want to see only the Name, Type, Bit Rate, Size, Date Modified tabs in EVERY folder and sub-folder of Vista, without having to enter each one and modify it. Maybe I can do something in the Registry area, I don't know.

The problem is my Vista doesn't even remember the settings I do for every folder, altough I checked the "Use separate settings for each folder" and/or "Use same settings for all folders" options.

    Any ideas?

Go into a folder that you have already set and modified to your liking.

Then at the top of that folder, go to tools > folder options.

Then switch over to the view tab and select apply to all folders.

This is in XP, but it should be similar in Vista.

    Good luck. :)

It worked. Let's hope they stay this way.

    Thanks! ;)
