This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Sound Card Problem

    one day suddenly my sound card just stopped responding so i uninstalled the card and reinstalled it my drivers and all but still no sound. the sound card is recognized but i get an error message saying the 'a3d.dll' is missing from my creative audigy CDROM. does anyone knows whats that all about.

    Put "a3d.dll" into Google and see what comes up - plenty in fact.
