    Hi,

Im sure there is some programs out there to use for this but its hard to search for in Google going through a million websites so im trying to narrow down the search, lol.

What im trying to do is put sound clips onto my mobile phone and use them as ringtones. The thing is at the moment they are mostly from movie/tv show clips i have on my computer, (e.g. the simpsons).

I was wondering if there is a piece of software out there that will allow me to record just the sound from the video clip and edit the sound clip down to just the part i want, then i can bluetooth it to my phone.

Anyone know if there is such software?

    Thanks.

The best software to use would be something like Sony Sound Forge or Adobe Audition. Both of these should allow you to just open your video files and extract the audio from them. However, both of these programs are expensive. A free option would be Audacity, although I'm not sure if it can import video files.
