Look nice ;) Unfortunately my ears are to big for my hd202's(there really small :() so i wont be returning to sennheiser, pioneer here i come :)

Never found any software that "improved" audio in the way you suggest, though i find srs annoying :p Some kind of equalizer is all i can think of for minor detail..

The only software I can think of to "enhance" audio on the fly is always the drivers for your soundcard since the soundcard is responsible for the sound and each one is very unique so there is only so much a 3rd party software could do.

I tell you now the creative x-fi has the best software for sound manip that I have seen 3d-cmss headphone mode is just heavenly in gaming with headphones, games like BF2 never seemed so real till you could hear bullets fy by like that.

As for software to enhance audio after the fact, I just started using Adobe Audition and its great, it can really clean up some bad audio and make it sound decent.

    okay,

so i ROLLED BACK my audio driver to an older version which i knew was better all the time..

now i am getting much better quality..

and iTunes gives out best sound quality..

it has preAmp & Great Sound EQ.

and most importantly a great UI

So now i am enjoying High Fidelity music
