    Hi
I have the Aurora 9700. When I stream from sites that have their own players like espn360.com or Fox on demand, it plays the sound for about 5 seconds than makes a loud hissing noise, then goes back to normal and again to hissing, which makes it impossible to watch anything.
This is not the case however when I just stream from other sites that usually use the standart quick time, media player or Div X
I have reinstalled the entire windows, than just the audio drivers, updated all my browsers and windows and nothing!!!!
Loosing fate in fixing this. Help!
    :)

Hi, Try going into your sound properties and muting the CD Player option.

You will still get sound when playing CD's etc, it's only applicable usually if you use the headphone socket in the front of the CD/DVD player.

I have found that this sometimes cures hissing...
