    Hi.
I'm having problems that i don't/didn't have on vista.
    Here's what i'm writing about:

    Youtube video

Drivers? This can happen after a fresh install (not upgrade) and before installing drives/software/updates.
    Programs? Same as above.
Hardware malfunction? Works fine on vista...

I read some people that had problems with soundcards on seven, like in this case but after googling i could't find any solution, except returning to vista, which is not a problem to me...
Any ideias how to fix this?

    Thanks

If it isn't hardware failure (seems unlikely as Vista installs work), this is a good example of having proper drivers and also, installing those drivers in the proper order too.

Not too familiar with Asus, but that is where my line of thinking goes on this issue.

    Good luck.

Yes, I would recommend that you update/reinstall your drivers before you do anything else, it's one of the most common problems with sound.

This happens before any driver installation.
So, it's not the case it's caused by driver x, y or z or because not installing in proper order; it happens the moment i install seven (not any windows, just seven).

But after i "ignore" the problem and start installing the proper drivers, provided by asus (older) or realtek (new), the problem never goes away. Of course with other windows, no matter what drivers i use (old/new) or order, all is fine, with vista, xp, me,2000,...
This problem only happens on seven (and i know my hardware and what drivers to use).
