Is there a way on Windows 7 to have different applications go to different audio devices?
For example this is what I want to do:
USB headset I want to use for Skype, and google phone calls (saves on cell minutes)
Then my headphone out for all other applications like Spotify, browser (netflix, youtube), Winamp ect.
Is there a way to do this so I dont have to keep on disconnecting my usb headset all the time?
When did the NBR theme change???

Some time in July, we upgraded to vBulletin 4.2 from 3.6, one long overdue upgrade with some kinks to work out, but the critical and pressing stuff is mostly done. If you see any issues, you can report them here: http://forum.notebookreview.com/sit.../678456-upgrade-vbulletin-4-2-discussion.html.
As for your question, set your default playback device to the speakers in windows and set skype to use the USB headset. Both are recognized as different audio devices in windows. -
It is set that was (I think)
It automatically switches to the usb headset for that but then all the audio go through the headset (so I cant just leave it plugged in). -
Do you mean that your sound devices are set like this? Vengeance 2000 is my USB headset by the way.
This particular configuration works for me. note that you may have to restart your programs for it to take effect if the usb headset was set to the default audio devices when you first launched them. -
Sweet, I found the default communication device and the default sounds device.
Now it works just how I want.
Woot. No more plugging things in lol.
Sounds outputs
