This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Speaker indicator wrong/malfunctioning?

    My speaker indicator is at 0%, i have a horizontal scrolling thing on the front of my laptop to quickly adjust speaker volume, yet when i play videos there is still some faint sound, like if the volume was at 5 or 10.

    Edit: i just noticed that my speakers will not turn off completely even when the volume is at 0 unless i mute them.
