    Spell check doesn't work - Word 2007

    Last year I installed the Dutch edition of Office Professional 2007, everything seemed to work correctly. However, since a couple of days the Dutch spell check doesn't seem to be working anymore.

    It says that everything has been checked, but in reality it just doesn't correct or highlight any wrongly spelled words.

    Obviously, the Dutch language pack is installed. The fact that it says the document has been checked confirms this...

    The question is how to fix this...

    verifying to see if the "automatic spelling check" was on? "check as you type"? etc ...

    Is the document marked as Dutch? To check, select everything in the document and make sure Dutch is selected box under Tools>Language.

    Hey all I am having a problem as well. My spell check is not working and I have it set to regional English(US) but it is still not picking up with the red line nor detecting any errors. I do a spell check and it says everything is ok even when I have major errors and words with asdfasdf.
