I have 2 identical monitors operating off a laptop running XP Pro. Is there a way to make the taskbar and desktop wallpaper span both monitors? Currently the taskbar spans 1 monitor and the other monitor has no taskbar. I'd like it to look as if I had a super-wide monitor ... Thanks!

Try Multimon(MultiMonitor TaskBar). It gives the second monitor a functioning taskbar but it isn't necessarily 1 taskbar(both should be idependant If I remember correctly )...

Yeah, the taskbars are separate. My friend recommended that to me before.

DisplayFusion is what I use to manage the wallpaper on my 2 monitors in XP. You can just drag a folder to the edge of your monitor and Windows (XP at least) will automatically create a tool bar. Quick and easy but not quite the same as the Taskbar.
