    Standby function on closing laptops.

    When I close my laptop, it switches to standby/hibernate mode. Is there anywhere in my settings where I can modify what it does? I'm using a Travelmate 2420 with Windows XP.

    Start->Control Panel->Power Options->Advanced

    "When I close the lid of my portable computer:"
    Select: Do Nothing
