So i downloaded the free version of this app which sorts you desktop icons into groups - which is good but i was thinking about having a slightly different use for it - in that i would put the icons into but would use it as a quick launch for thing such as games, apps and such BUT i want to be able to show and hide it when i do not need it - it has a double right click feature that hides it all which is GREAT but i want to have a icon that i can place in Rocketdock to be able to show and hide it anyone know any options if any i have in being able to do this?

try a multiple desktop app like virtuawin or dexpot.

virtuawin went open source about 9 months back which generated a load of development and code contributions and the two German guys behind dexpot are getting pretty good at interfacing with win7 (in their beta snapshots which should show up as released code Real Soon Now).

rocketdock is getting kind of long in the tooth without development, etc.

for convenient buttons, look at nircmd.exe, just set up commandline shortcuts with custom icons.

or use a vista/win7 gadget like launch control that has all the pre-defined buttons you could want.

by button - i mean an icon that i can add to either Rocketdock or Objectdock to show and hide it, otherwise would be no need to change it as it currently shows and hides via double left click
