Sometimes when I click on the Start Menu Button it seems to "freeze" for 1-3 seconds then it behaves like normal. Anyone know a solution?

I've had this happen to me on several machines, I'd like to know a fix as well.

It's basically the machine taking a bit of time to parse the directories of your start menu. Make sure you defrag regularly, and that will keep the times to a minimum. Windows uses the filesystem to create the Start menu, so it's only as fast as your filesystem is. Enabling Readyboost may also help, if you're using Vista.
