VISTA USERS ONLY
You guys know when you click start orb, there's those 2 icons for Sleep and Lock. I changed my Sleep to Shut Down, but I can't find how to change Lock To Restart. Does anyone know?

How did you cange Sleep to Shut Down?
-
Control Panel > Power Options > Change when the computer sleeps > Change Advanced Power Settings > Power Buttons and lid > Change the default action of the Start Menu Power Button

I changed many of those settings on my Vista as well. You can always click on the right arrow to bring up the list of options, including restart.

Yes. I know that. But I want to change Lock to Restart.

Registry? It should be in there somewhere.
EDIT: Calvin beat me to it... -
I use on-keyboard button for sleep,
Windows button + L for locking.
GUI is user friendly but takes too many clicks -

Haven't actually tried it, but seems like it'll work even though the guide is for XP. -

LOL... Yeah I don't think it's possible.

I set the laptop power button to initiate a shutdown....very convenient.
-
So did I, but how does that have any relevancy to what I am trying to accomplish?
