This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    I wonder if I'm the only one who has encountered this problem over and over again. The start button on my Vista Home Premium 64x would stop working frequently. The start menu does not pop up when clicked. It will only recover once I restart my computer. I even reintalled the OS, and the problem remains. Does anyone have a clue?
