    OK.

I need some help here and would be grateful for any assistance.

It's a long story, but basically I need to figure out how to "delete/edit" my boot sector. Basically, I want to use the Vista startup repair program to fix the boot sector back to the "default".... but right now it's loading up fine so it's not fixing it. I want to scuttle my boot sector so then Vista finds a problem in the startup and fixes it and restores the boot sector.....

Is there anyway to go about editing/deleting the boot sector?

Or, is there any other way to screw up my startup process?

    Thanks!

    Damn! That worked! THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

    Question 2:

Previously, after I would type in my login password it would go into windows right away. Now, it gives me the message that it is logging in and wait until everything is loaded and then it lets me into windows. Anyway to revert it back to the old way where after I would type in my password it would let me in right away?

    Thanks!

I just realized something, previously, after I would type in my password it would make a "ding" sound and then show me my background and such..... and then it would go ahead and load up. Now, there is no more ding, it just says "Welcome" with the spinning wheel for a while while it loads everything....thanks.
