    Status bar under icons on My computer

    hello guys, i used to see, when i get into my computer or windows explorer, some information about the drivers (like de c: d: dvd drive) that show that blue bar with the drive usage space and free space and other informations...
    suddenly theese informations desapear and i can not make it show up again, can anyone help me?? i really like that thing!

    You're in Vista...

    click on Views and slide the bar down to Tiles.

    Aha. Yes, and you can also play around with the 'Organize' tab in the 'Layout' option.

    i did all these stuffs that you guys told me to do, i manage to put the details painel under the window (in the organize tab and layout option), but i used to have these informations not only downside at the window, but under each icon... i these isn't showing anymore...
    anything else i should do?

    Like outofthisworld said, it should be the 'Tiles' setting.

    Try this:

    Click "alt", then go to tools>folder options
    Click "restore defaults"
    Then go to the "view" tab
    Click "restore defaults" there too

    See if that works.

    i do have the aero theme enable (if it is the windows vista theme)

    and i have tried to go under booth view and folder options and restore to default and nothing...

    i'm thininking that i will have to reinstall windows...

    any other option?

    Before re-installing, I would create a new account and check if it has the same problems. If not, you could switch accounts, or play with your settings some more.

    i created another account and in this new account the explorer is right, wit the status bar just like it used to be on my first account!! and more, it has the option under the view tab to show titles, and the fisrt account only shows the option of extended titles... strange!!

    how do i copy all my settings, if it is possible, like the favorites, pictures, etc to my new account???
