I'm a fairly forgetful person and an application like Stickies in Apples newer Operating Systems would be a very useful tool for me. I have looked around a little but have only found a few freeware programs that were not nearly the quality that i was looking for, neither in form nor functionality. I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction of a decent program for such a purpose? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You mean something like the Windows Vista Sidebar Sticky Notes gadget? You can get it in XP by installing Yahoo Widgets or something.
