Is there a way to stop chrome from saving any documents that you open. With firefox I can open a document to view it without automatically saving it to my downloads folder. This is getting annoying and it is the last thing keeping me from switching over to chrome as my primary browser.

    Thanks,
    Bryan

That is probably just part of caching. Clear out the cache after each browsing session.

    cheers ...

It is a problem with the Google Chrome that it writes everything on the HDD.
My suggestion is to get CCleaner and use every once in a while.
    Or you can switch browser
