    Hi,
Since the latest Windows update, when I try to read anything my display dims after about 10 seconds. I cannot find any setting which would allow me to reconfigure this or ovveride it.

    Any ideas please?

Usually it's some power config -- try going through Settings - Display or Control Panel - Power Config

Oh, and also see if the problem goes away after updating your GFX drivers coz windows update might have overwritten those.

Is this the factory O/S install or custom O/S install that's something we don't have info for.
