Hi Guys,
Is it possible to store the hibernation file in a HD, or a partition different than the primary one (where the OS is)?

No, it has to be on the same partition where your Windows installation is.

It has to be on your boot drive. I think it has something to do with the fact that your computer is off and essentially "boots" back up when it is awaken. Instead of a normal bootup, it boots up from the hibernation file.

just thinking it would be fun to hibernate onto an usb stick, and then switch the stick
