    Hi all,

Nice to meet all you guys.

I bought my Asus A6VC in Toronto couple of weeks ago and everything works fine until recently.
It seems like my taskbar would occasionally get screwed when I start up my laptop. (about once every 5 times)...

When it gets screwed, 2 windows would appear on my taskbar when I have opened only 1 window. And when this happens, all I need to do is to restart my laptop hoping that it would come back to normal next time.

I dont know if this problem relates to the laptop itself or it's just the software (WIndows XP) problem. But since it never happens on my PC, could it be because some defective parts of my laptop or mebbe I will need to reinstall my WIndows?

Any advaice woudl be highly appreciated

    Robin

ps: I have got a screenshot here but I dont have a webspace to put up the picture...

Hmm...that seems to definitely be a Windows related problem. I have had that happen before, but it was just a single occurence thing, instead of restarting you could try to end the explorer task in the task manager and restarting the explorer process, by going to the task manager, via right click on the taskbar or pressing ctrl+alt+del, and go to the processes tab and find explorer and end the task, then click file, then new task and enter in "explorer.exe" and press enter. But be warned, it will close all of your windows you have currently opened, so bookmark or save wait u just did.

And with the picture, you can just attach an image when you make a reply or copy and paste it in.
