When I try to watch streaming video no matter what website I'm using my video freezes if I watch fullscreen. When this happens the audio continues in the backround and when I hit Del to go back the video is still playing at its normal size in the backround. In otherwords streaming video works fine unless I watch in fullscreen. Freezes every 5-10 seconds on any given website. Any suggestions?

Seems disabling hardware acceleration fixed this for me. Is there any downside to doing that?

There is no real downside to removing that option, but you could try different versions of Adobe Flash Player plugin. The new 10.1 beta supports the use of several specific GPU models for accelerating flash apps online.
