I just received my new dv9000t, but with one stuck pixel in the middle of the screen. It bothers me quite a bit so I started searching for ways to get rid of it. Before massaging it out, I wanted to try flashing it with this program http://www.jscreenfix.com/ . I was wondering if this is safe for my lcd monitor. I was planning on leaving it running all night to see what happened, but didn't want the image quality on my lcd to degrade at all. I'm just cautious and don't want anything to happen to an otherwise perfect screen. So if anyone knows if this is safe, or if there are any alternative methods to fixing a stuck pixel please let me know. Thanks!

Just a question. If stuck fixels could be reliable fixed, don't you think the manufacturer would do it? ;)

Apart from that, I've never tried any app like that, and from the website, it doesn't sound particularly professional (Uh, we just flash random colors on each pixel because that's more efficient than what the competitors do")

That said, I don't see how it could possibly harm your LCD.

Did you know the dead pixel was there before you checked with "dead pixelbuddy" or simmilar progamme?
Just wondering... before I fall into this group.

Yes I did know it was there. Its a bright green so it was hard to miss. The only thing Dead Pixel Buddy will do is flash colors on the screen. It does it slowly so you can find the dead or stuck pixel if you have one, I don't think its meant to remedy it.
