    Expressgate works fine......

but..... it seems that my vista is giving me some enormous problems.

-Vista gets stuck on welcome screen when trying to load Normal Mode
-Vista does BSOD on Virus scan (Safe mode)

-I tried to load "Last Known Good Configuration That Worked"
    - Same deal with the stuck welcome screen

-I kept pressing f8, and i loaded it in "Debugging mode".
-Windows booted fine. I tried to do a virus scan, and i tried to stop it thinking it was frozen. Computer froze, i turned it off. Now it won't boot in debugging mode again. It just hangs on loading screen.

I don't want to use recovery discs, because i have valuable information to me on the computer.

What am i supposed to do, short of sending my computer in again to them?

Ups, sorry was sort of lookign and typing this while walking to the train on he platform of my station...

What about safe mode? Can you boot into safe mode? That would allow you to check the diagnostics.

    And Edit:
If you send it in it may be formatted - companies do not offer data recovery as general warranty with their computers.
