I always hear about how, as a student, you should be able to find Windows 7 for cheaper than the $80 it costs to add on to a Sager. However, both the Microsoft website and my school's store only offer the upgrade version of the OS (which is to say, the $65 Windows 7 Professional upgrade), which, being an upgrade, is obviously not intended for use on a drive without an installed OS. Is there some acquisition method I'm missing, or does my school simply not offer it? It may or may not be worth noting that I'm not purchasing my laptop until Ivy Bridge.
