    G'day,
I want to have my school timetable on my desktop, I have read around to use Google Desktop etc etc, but I want my full timetable on my desktop, I want to scan my printed timetable into a JPEG, and be able to have it on my desktop, without inserting it into the Wallpaper (i change it quite often!) If this cannot be done, I will just have to insert the JPEG into the wallpaper, and try to not change it!

    Cheers.

well, if your sidebar is loaded, you could make a simple sidebar gadget and drag it to your desktop.

In your case, the gagdet would be a basic xml file and html file with a picture of your student timetable in it.
