I have an ASUS laptop I bought from Newegg. The language toolbar in the taskbar (which displays "EN" for English) won't go away. I right click the taskbar, go to toolbars, uncheck language toolbar, and it disappears for about 1.5 seconds then reappears and is checked in the toolbar menu. How can I get rid of this?

    Help much appreciated.

Right-click on the EN - Settings - Language Bar to make your changes. Set it to Hidden in your case.

Ok.... mainly that EN is for if you want to use OTHER languages, so that you can click on it and go to click on spanish or Korean or whatever....

To turn it off in Vista go to:
Control Panel (make sure you are at the home and NOT the classic view)
Click Change Keyboards or Other input methods... this is under Clock, Language, and Region
Then click Keyboards and Languages Tab
    Click Change Keyboards
    Click Language Bar Tab
    Then click the hidden option.

    Hope this helps! :D
