This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Stupid firefox deletes my bookmarks!!!!

    Darn it!!! It happened again, it deleted all of my bookmarks and this has happened several times. Has this happened to anyone else and can this be fixed!? ARRGHH!!!! :mad: :mad:

    yes it has happened to me and its annoying. There is hope though, try looking in the firefox folder for a bookmarks backup folder. Its in

    C:\Documents and Settings\ user name\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\ xxxxxx.default

    You need to go into tools>folder options and check the option to view hidden files & folders.

    I think it keeps 5 backups of your bookmarks in html format.
