I've got one file in my PC that is acting weird. On practically every video player I've tried the embedded subtitles refuse to show even though other video files of the same type display embedded subs normally. The strangest thing is that the inbuilt video player in Vuze is the only thing that can get the file to play AND display the embedded subtitles properly. I suspect it's something to do with my video player configuration or ffdshow setting but I have absolutely no clue where the problem lies. Currently using the latest official CCCP codec pack.

You are using media player classic right? Go in view>options>external filter and add directvobsub(auto loading)

If you want to use WMP, then tick Autoload VSFilter on the second page of the CCCP settings application(after resetting, because that will reset this setting too). -
