    Is there a way or a tweak to get rids of history in the run command. It really annoys me when I see a bunch of commands. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

    Well, I did googled first before posting here and I went through these instructions. First of all, while changing the values, the values are already empty. I also tried that reg file and restarted but no luck. Still there is everything on run. Any other idea?

    empty? You sure you are checking under HKEY_CURRENT_USER?

    Cause it works like a charm over here.

    edit:

    You could also rightclick the taskbar and turn off "recently used programs and documents."

    There's actually a specific checkbox for 'Run (in Start menu)' under the 'Windows Explorer' section. ;) Works a treat, as they say.

    Edit: Now with 120% more attachments! lol
