Need to burn .avi vid files to dvd to watch on my stand alone DVD player..have DVDFlicks but not happy with it..audio cuts out or is choppy..anybody have any suggestions for a good freeware dvd burning software..must be easy and burn dvds that are dvd player compatible..thanks!

If you run Vist Home Premium or Ultimate you should have a DVD maker - else there is Windows Movie Maker - a powerful encoder is Super, and may I suggest you have a look here?
