I have a Dell Latitude D830 with the WSXGA+ screen which is nice to look at pictures on but not web pages. The page zoom on Internet Explorer is nice but I have to zoom every time I start IE. I was wondering if I can set a permanent zoom in either IE, Firefox, or any other browser. I tried using a css code to set a zoom but it only applies to some websites (Google gets huge but Yaho! stays small). What can I do?

Do I have a feeling that this is not possible?

This is possible using MouseZoom on FireFox browser. Just hold the Right mouse button and scroll to desired zoom and then let go and surf. Hold down Right & Left Mouse button Together to bring back to normal zoom.

Note: You do have to set it on every TAB tho.

Yea, but that requires you to override the website's font which can mess up layout, right?

Maybe not what you are looking for, but have you tried Windows' 'Magnify'? In XP it's at Programs -> Accessories -> Accessibility -> Magnifier.

Only if you magnify it to massive proportions. Otherwise it shouldn't ruin the layout much if at all.
