I usually use Switch User or Windows+L to lock my desktop when I leave it unattended. for some reason, starting yesterday, neither methods have been working at all; when I try either, nothing happens at all. does anyone know how to fix this? It is very annoying that I can't lock my computer.

thanks for the help, even though I didn't need it.... somehow it fixed itself and is now working fine. Maybe I had a virus that was affecting it somehow (I did a virus scan this morning).
