I just bought and IBM T42 laptop and was wondering what software I should use to sync my Outlook emails between them?

Did you want to sync the whole Outlook file, or just the e-mails?

I think just the emails. I have Outlook Express on my desktop and Outlook on my Laptop. I need to transfer my OE files to my Outlook files on my laptop. Plus, going forward, I would like to sync my emails between my laptop and desktop

I've never found a very easy way to do this. You might consider leaving the messages on the server with one machine, but that doesn't solve the problem for messages that are already in the inbox of the primary computer. Microsoft doesn't provide a good way to "sync" a notebook with a PC.

The best thing is to use Exhcange with a VPN connection, but I don't know if that's an option for you.

Probably the easiest way to get them from one machine to the other is to forward them to yourself, then download the messages again on the desired machine and client. It is a little time consuming, but it gets the job done.

Using a web client is another option.

    Check out www.synchpst.com

I've never tried it personally, but I do know it was mentioned in a recent issue of MSDN magazine. I'll be loading it up real soon (S6231 comes tomorrow!!) so I'll pass on my experiences soon.
