Could someone tell me what this is?
I was using this tool on Nero and it said my system ASPI installation is corrupt. But the Nero ASPI was fine.

I reinstalled the driver and i still get the same thing as stated as above. Anymore ideas?
Does it really matter since The Nero ASPI is fine and not corrupt?

Could someone answer this for me?

I assume you installed right drivers correctly. Are you actually having any problems besides that message? You could uninstall and reinstall Nero if that helps. You could also try updating your motherboard/chipset drivers.. Where to find them, well, what laptop you have (what specs)?

    Correct drivers are installed.
    My laptop is a E1505.
Not having any actual problems,Just concerned about the Nero tools saying the installation for the ASPI for system is corrupt.
The ASPI for Nero is fine.
I should of been more specific in my first post, I apoligize.
    Specs are as follows
    T7200 core 2 duo 667 FSB
    2 gigs ram 667
    160 gig 5200 HDD
    X1400 Gpu
    Does any of that help?
What chip set does this thing have anyway?

If theres nothing to worry about since everthing seems to be working then i wont bother trying to fix the ASPI thats corrupt if it's not going to cause problems in the future.

Well, I think one should not try to fix something that's not really broken. It sounds like the message is only related to Nero tools, so you shouldn't be worried. As stated on that wiki page, ASPI is related to SCSI drives. Sometimes ripping/writing programs like Nero use it even though there are no SCSI drives used.

And about the chipset, since you have dedicated graphics card (x1400) then you have Intel 945PM express chipset..

If for some reason you run into any kind of problems, first check the official Dell support pages. You will also find latest driver updates from there (also for that chipset mentioned).
