Hey guys, just installed an update after I shut down last night and this morning when I booted up it got to the blue screen, said it was configuring updates and when black and then booted up again. Sweet, everything is fine so far, but when I go to type in my security password it says that "System Event Notification Service Failed Logon" and then I had to put in my password twice before it started up. I turned off a few services per black viper's website (not all the recommended ones maybe half) and I installed the updates that were downloaded last night but other than that I didn't do anything unusual. Has anyone ever come across this? Running vista home premium on dell xps 1530. thanks.
