I'm a little confused when installing W7 Ultimate on a desktop rig with 3 physical hard drives. When I create the first partition it prompts me with the message that Windows 7 may need to create an additional partition reserved for the system. It then creates a system reserved partition @100MB Partition 1. It follows it with Partition 2 as the remainder of my physical drive.

If I create an additional partition on any of the other two drives it doesn't create a system reserve partition. Is this normal? What is the purpose of the system reserved partition? Will the OS become without it?

edit: I found my answer. :)

Yeah, Bitlocker. You can safely delete the partition.
