    System error memory dump files

    Just been doing a disk cleanup and noticed my System error memory dump files were 428mb. Is this a cause for concern, seems large to me, i've never noticed them to be this high. Or is this normal.

    I've had a lot on my Vaio as well.

    I don't think its a cause for concern - especially as some errors seem to need "a ton" of space while others only need kilobytes.
    Unless you get these after a cleanup very very fast you shouldn't be concerned.
