Hi, I was wondering, is there any reason for me to have system recovery enabled on my backup harddrive, when it is already enabled on my system drive (c:\)?
By default is is enabled on both drives, but it takes up quite alot of space, and I would like to free it up on my backup drive at least...
What do you guys think?
Edit: By the way, it is one physical harddrive partitioned into two....

imo, it's just taking up space. I would disable it. It just takes up extra space on your recovery /backup partition.......

Yes, there IS a reason to have it enabled. System recovery under XP was ONLY for the OS, so you thinking would have indeed been correct if you were running XP. But under Vista, System Recovery has been extended to user files and documents as well. So, it is a good idea to keep it on for the other partitions as well.

Luckily I'm running xp, so Sys Rec, bye bye - extra space, hello!
Thanks for the help guys....
