Hi,
I tried to do a system restore using the windows restore center but it didn't work at all and gave me the error message upon the reboot. Please see the attachment.
I am using Vista Home Premium SP1 on a Lenovo T61.

Have you tried restoring to a different restore point, and see if you get the same error?
-
That was the only restore point that I had.
I really think drivermax messed up my latptop really bad because it takes more than 1min 30 sec to be fully functional from the moment I press the power button. The current start-up time is unbearable considering that I only have 58 processes and 5 programs running at startup.
Should I consider a full factory restore? Will it be possible to undo the driver updates made by drivermax?
Thanks a lot guys. -
Or if you are going for a factory restore, you might as well think about going for a clean install too if you want, and then install the latest drivers. -
here is another option. when you boot up hit the F8 key until a menu comes up. from the menu choose repair system. from there you should be able to figure the rest out. u am getting the impression that you are doing the restore on a normal boot.
