Everytime i do system restore on this Asus G50vt laptop, it changes my files. I'm talking about everything. Logs from pidgin, program files, download files, security updates, recycle bin. everything is changed on this thing when i do a simple system restore. I lost my antivirus, my game i was paying Perfect World was really messed up. I lost all of my logs from pidgin and my other files a select few mainly just screenshots of my gameply and some documents for school have bene lost. It seems that for some unknown reason vista Home Premium sp1 x64 and 7 Beta x64 both like to move files for some unknown reason i did a sytem restore this time b/c my audio was acting very weird to me not working and all and a simple driver clean install didn't cut it.

That's what System Restore is supposed to do.

With so many issues, you might want to consider a system repair. This way, you still have your personal data intact.
