This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Is Systweak CacheBoost a good alternative for Superfetch under XP? Has anybody used this tool, and is it better than Superfetch? Is it needed? :cool:

    XP SP3 has its own cache management, and has come a long long way. I would just leave it alone.

    Anything that tries to immitate Vista toolings on XP is not really helping much. They are simply different OS.

    Giving that, there are always tools that work for one and not the other :D
