    Hi,

I recently purchased an Acer Extensa EX4420-5910. It comes with a TL-60 cpu which is 64 bit, but he machine came installed with 32-bit Microsoft Vista. I'm considering downgrading the os to XP.

Does anyone know if there would be any performance gains for going with a 64-bit Windows XP versus 32-bit Windows XP?

Thanks in advance for any help / suggestions.
