Does it exist? What I mean is, Alt+Tab tabs through client windows, but is there a command that tabs throughs tabs opened in Firefox? Or can I program a shortcut for it? Like Ctrl+Tab or something?
Thanks in advanced![]()

The hotkeys are Ctrl+Tab or Ctrl+Shift+Tab (reverse)

So it DID exist LOL! I knew it did but after Googling and looking at forums, I couldn't find an answer. Sweet, I used to use my touchpad to change tabs, now it's not needed

You might also look at the add-on (extension), TabMixPlus, as it enhances the configurability and usability of Firefox tabbed browsing.

I want to know why I used to be able to move through my tabs with the mouse scroll wheel (doing just what ctrl+tab does) on my mac and old installs of firefox, but now it just scrolls the tab bar back and forth without changing tabs. It was a very nice feature and I'd like to get it back if possible...

Example: Open 8 tabs, then move your mouse to the tab bar, you will find that scrolling on it lets you do what you want. -
The behavior I was referring to was that the scroll wheel would actually change the active tab left or right. This is the behavior that I would like, and is currently not happening.
I'll have to check out tab mix plus to see if that will let me do what I want.
edit: Looks like it's doing what I want, but I never had this installed before (I had used quicktabpreftoggle or whatever, but it's no longer compatible with the new firefox versions, I think.). After turning off most of its additional features, I'm pretty happy with it. -

I've used several tab browsing extensions over the years, and a couple work quite well. TabMixPlus is working the best for me right now.
Glad to read that you got the scroll wheel working as you wanting it to, talz13.
