Weirdest thing: when I undock my Latitude e6400, I lose my task bar.
Its not completely gone; its at the bottom but it is ENTIRELY see-through.
I cant see the tabs, my system tray, nothing.

This only happens in Aero when undocked.

    Any ideas?

Try Click+Dragging your cursor from the bottom, up. And see if you drag the taskbar up. ;)

    I probably didnt explain properly...
The task bar is there...at least the outline of it is. Even the start button is there but everything else is completely transparent. If I hover my mouse over where the tabs should be, a pop up box shows me what the tab is.
    But there are no tabs.

Screenshot, just for clarity's sake?

Also, this may be worth a read.

Yes, have you also tried the standard lock/unlock, hide/unhide, reboot, etc? How about restore points?

    Cheers...

Are you using 64 bit? There is a known issue when using a second monitor.

See if this thread is the same issue that you are experiencing.

    http://forums.extremeoverclocking.com/showthread.php?p=3361314

If this is the issue, then try:

    Enable secondary monitor.
    Turn off auto-hide.
    Disable secondary monitor.
    Taskbar is visible again.
