How do you copy the process list form the task manager into a typing place. Like a forum box? so others can help you if a virus is running or something?

    Thanks.

I would simply take a screen shot (use the print screen key) and edit as you see fit (mspaint works well) and then upload, either via an attachment on this site or via a free host, such as www.imageshack.us

I'll echo vespoli here with a further detail. Unless you want to copy down your process list by hand, a screenshot is the ONLY way to get a quick copy and paste of your process list.

If you only want to take a screen-grab of device manager, use alt+Print Screen. That only captures the currently focused window, rather than your entire desktop.

Vista wasn't mentioned. I never assume Vista's presence...too much like assuming a serial killer is behind every door :D.

The snipping tool might be in Vista Business. You'll have to check. It is installed as part of the Tablet PC Optional Components.

Start/Control Panel/Programs and Features/Turn Windows Features On or Off/Tablet PC Optional Components

It's pretty much print screen with a gui integra. I use, and recommend it.
