Possible issues with graphic driver?
-
when it disappears, do all your desktop icons disappear too?
-
Explorer crash i guess...
-
Maybe, maybe not.....
-
no idea...all other graphic based programs run great.
no..
infact..objectdock is clearly present..and the start button too.
only the taskbar with all the minimized windows, quick launch and tray icons go missing. -
Does it happen without object dock?
I'm thinking a recent third party program is the culprit. Doesn't sound like drivers. -
Uninstall objectdock, it just doesnt have good enough Win7 support yet.
-
removed objectdock..still having same problem.
this is the closest solution i found: http://www.online-tech-tips.com/windows-7/windows-7-taskbar-disappearing/
i.e restarting explorer.exe -
When this error appears and caused your taskbar vanished try,
Ctrl + Alt + Del.
Run Task Manager.
File > New Task (Run...)
Type-in explorer.exe and click OK.
Done.
Close the Task Manager.
