So, why choose the ipad over other windows tablets?
-Great battery life. (most of the times)
-Tiny.(not beatable)
-A load of brilliant apps and games. - FIXABLE.
So here is what i need help for. A call to all developers in the world who are listening.
Lets bring old software and games that do not support multitouch, back to the world by making them support multitouch.
How you ask?
Simple.(well maby not actually)
My idea is to make a mouse emulator. windows seven only supports single mouse button in old games and software, making most games not playable. but all RTS games are playable when we can control the mouse wheel and right button.
And i guess alot more games.
So why not make a mouse emulator that supports these things?
For example: 2 vingers on screen means right click. 1 vinger means single click. 2 rapid taps means dubbleclick. 3 vingers means mousewheel. and the list can go on and suite your own imagination.
Think of all the RTS games out there that will be playable again on tablet PC's, and many more other games.
So please give me your jugdement about this idea by replying here, or by emailing me to mytouchswipeusername at gdteam dot net (lots of spam bots here)

The majority of RTS games are best played with a keyboard. You can do everything with a mouse, sure, but the reaction time and APM drop significantly. Using Starcraft as a classic example, you need both the keyboard and the mouse acting independently to control multiple squads and buildings efficiently. That's assuming both the mouse emulator and ported software would pass through the App Store without proper licensing.
Regarding battery life, I wouldn't bet on the battery life staying so great whilst playing any kind of game that requires rendering, whether 2D or 3D. -
Im talking about a mouse emulator on windows...

Ah, that clarifies a bit. Could probably knock out the battery life comment (maybe) and the App Store (for sure). Still, I can't see myself playing an RTS on a tablet unless it's turn-based (Civ4). Anyhow, isn't the default multitouch right-click in Windows 7 to touch and hold? Seems like the multi-finger click is something that would be driver-enabled for the screen, rather than requiring an additional application?
The Best multi-touch idea of the century
