    What the heck is that thing for? You know, the big blob of ink on the sticker under your laptop? Is it bad if it's missing? My sister's blob wore off of her sticker from use (the whole portion actually just fell off somehwere). Is that gonna pose any problems?

    I can't think of a need for the sticker... well if you're selling it maybe the buyer would want proof of what OS it legally has... but as far as personal concerns (ie reinstalling) just don't lose the activation code.
